Build a fragrance ritual from ancient aromatic resins

Explore a varied collection of aromatic resins and powders selected for incense rituals, blending, and creative practice. Choose from frankincense, myrrh, benzoin, dragon’s blood, rosin, gum arabic, and premium frankincense varieties in weights from 50 g to 200 g.

Unlike incense sticks, loose resins do not burn on their own in the same way. Most aromatic varieties are traditionally heated in a suitable resin warmer or placed in a very small amount on properly prepared incense charcoal. The result is a concentrated fragrance experience that lets you control how much material you use.

Choose your variety

  • Frankincense and Frankincense Powder, 200 g: typically woody, resinous, and citrus-leaning, in tears or a convenient powdered format.
  • Omani Frankincense, 100 g: a smaller premium selection for traditional resin fragrance rituals.
  • Hojari Frankincense, 50 g: the smallest and most premium-priced frankincense option in this collection.
  • Myrrh Powder and Crushed Myrrh, 200 g: earthy, balsamic formats for measured use or blending.
  • Myrrh A and Myrrh B, 200 g: two supplier-designated myrrh selections. Review their variant images before choosing.
  • Benzoin and Benzoin Powder, 200 g: warm, resinous varieties often described as sweet or vanilla-like.
  • Dragon’s Blood, 200 g: a bold red resin traditionally used in incense blends and ritual practice.
  • Rosin, 200 g: a resin option for experienced users who understand its intended application.
  • Gum Arabic, 200 g: primarily valued as a binder in handmade incense and craft recipes rather than as a strong standalone fragrance.

How to use aromatic resin safely

For a charcoal ritual, place a purpose-made incense charcoal tablet in a stable, heat-resistant censer filled with sand or ash. Light the charcoal according to its instructions, wait until it is fully ignited and beginning to ash over, then add only a very small resin tear or pinch of powder. Resin can melt, bubble, and produce strong smoke, so begin with less than you think you need.

A temperature-controlled electric resin warmer may provide a gentler fragrance with less direct combustion. Follow the warmer manufacturer’s instructions and never place resin directly on an unprotected household heating appliance.

Gum arabic is not presented here as a fragrance-forward incense resin. If using it as a binder for handmade incense, follow a tested recipe from a reliable craft source. Different resins behave differently when heated, and not every variety should be treated as interchangeable.

Important safety information

Use only in a well-ventilated room. Never leave hot charcoal, a resin warmer, or smouldering material unattended. Keep away from curtains, paper, drafts, children, pets, and anyone sensitive to smoke or fragrance. Use heat-resistant tools because charcoal, melted resin, ash, and the burner can remain extremely hot after use.

Do not touch or discard charcoal until it is fully cold. Do not ingest these products or apply them to the skin. No food-grade, cosmetic-grade, or medical certification is stated. Stop use if smoke or fragrance causes irritation, dizziness, coughing, or discomfort.

What you receive

Each order contains one selected resin or powder variety in the weight shown in its variant name. A mixed collection is not included unless explicitly selected. Burners, charcoal, tongs, sand, warmers, and other accessories are sold separately.

Natural-looking resin pieces may vary in colour, shape, and granule size. Powdered, crushed, and whole-resin formats can also look different from one another. Review the variant name and images carefully before ordering.
